Richard is a consultant, author and experienced project leader in technology and skills, particularly in delivering skills around robotics, AI and IoT. As well as taking up a new role as Director of Education at BOW ltd, Richard has worked for several years with Sheffield Robotics, co-founding the skills network SERAS and delivering skills and education projects. He is the lead author of the recent paper ‘Robot Telepresence as a Practical Tool for Responsible and Open Research in Trustworthy Autonomous Systems’ for the Journal of Responsible Technology; and the white paper ‘Preparing the Workforce for 2030: Skills and Education for Robotics & Autonomous Systems’.
