Dr. Seemal Asif
Dr Seemal Asif is Cranfield University's Control Lead on an ATI-funded Airbus project and leads the IFRA research group, specialising in industrial robotics, integration, and human-centred automation. With experience across academia and industry, she focuses on robotic path correction, imitation learning, and coordinated swarm communication. As Co-Investigator on multiple EPSRC-funded projects, she contributes to developing frameworks that embed human factors into responsive manufacturing and human-robot collaboration. Her work prioritises solving real-world industrial challenges while ensuring operator safety and well-being. Seemal is also a residency fellow with the AMRC (2023–2026), reflecting her recognised expertise in the field.
