CKF SYSTEMS WELCOME NEW SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN RESPONSE TO INCREASED DEMAND FOR AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS

CKF Systems have expanded their engineering team, after a successful 2019, with the appointment of a new software engineer, Nick Hornsey. CKF Systems are a leading robotics and automation solutions provider who specialise in robotics, palletising and conveyor systems with over 30 years industry expertise.

Nick’s appointment comes as the result of increased demand for the company’s automation solutions throughout 2019 with substantial new contracts already awarded to the provider in 2020. Nick graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Robotics and spent four years working for one of the UK’s leading collaborative robot specialists before joining the team at CKF in their Gloucester headquarters. Nick has also delivered a series of lessons in Robotics to Secondary Schools in the area – helping to inspire the next generation of budding Engineers.

“These are exciting times for CKF, and the industry as a whole, with companies focusing more on incorporating robotic technology to revolutionise their operations. We are delighted to welcome Nick, and his robotics expertise, to our team of Engineers. One of CKF’s key differentiators is the fact that we handle the full manufacture and design of our solutions in our Gloucester facility so our talented team is our most important asset which we are continually looking to develop.” Jamie Quinton, Project Manager CKF Systems
