Here’s what our 2017 exhibitors had to say about the exhibition…
Robotics & Automation has been hailed as our most successful event to date. The vetting of delegates ensured that we were able to engage with a select audience, all looking with an automated robotic requirement.
The KUKA Demonstrailer was full to capacity and the number of leads that we have managed to achieve after just two days is astonishing. When we say leads, we don’t just mean interest in our products, but business owners with a genuine need. We shall definitely be booking
Katherine Johnson, Marketing Manager, KUKA
Best UK Robotics show of the year, both in quality of end users and organisations!
Phil English, BDM, Robot Center
The Robotics and Automation event held in Milton Keynes had proven to be extremely successful for our ABB Robotics team, from distribution and fulfilment to our wider units in production and manufacturing. Over the course of the 2 days, we received numerous high quality leads. The attendees at the event were the people we wanted to speak to! The use of seminars over the 2 days gave a further platform to reach out to the audience in attendance and to advertise our distribution and fulfilment team offering.
Eleanor Baverstock, BDM, ABB
We were more than pleasantly surprised by the success of this launch event – The quality of the discussions was excellent and the demographics of the visitors staggering – from Glasgow to the South coast, cosmetics and distillery applications via the automotive industry! We already have several follow up meetings in our diaries and are confident that the show will bring significant orders.
Simon Adams, MD, Werma
MCS were very pleased with the results of this show. The attendees were relevant to our business, and the leads obtained were high quality , and have already led to opportunities to quote for real live projects. We had no hesitation in re-booking our stand for next year.
Mark Hassell, Sales Manager, MCS Control Systems Ltd
Just wanted to drop you a very quick email to say thanks for organising a great show! From a Konecranes point of view it was well worth attending and we received a huge amount of interest in Agilon from a wide range of industries. It was clear that you had worked very hard to get the right target audience to visit and I hope that next year’s show will be even bigger!
Paul Nagy, General Manager Agilon UK.
Based on the success of the Akabo Media Intralogistex show in 2017, Conveyor Systems Ltd concluded that exhibiting at the Robotics and Automation Show was a great marketing investment.. As with ILX17 the show was well attended with a high level of decision makers. We generated an exceptional number of high quality leads from many well known brands and organisations. For the first installment of the Robotics and Automation show, the standard and execution far surpassed our expectations. As with all Akabo Media expo’s the show was well organised and very well marketed. Thanks again guys and we look forward to booking our place for the 2018 show.
Jim Farquhar, Sales Director, Conveyor Systems Ltd.
Since the UK launch of Neopost’s CVP-500 in 2016, the Robotics and Automation Exhibition has been the by far and away the most successful event we have participated in to date. Both the quality and the quantity of the visitors was outstanding and far surpassed out expectation. Both days proved to be equally successful and we were constantly busy with the number of visitors to the stand. A great success and we look forward to 2018
Hedde Biesma, Neopost Shipping
L3 MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd had great success at the Robotics & Automation Exhibition 2017 that took place 11th & 12th October 2017 in Arena MK, Milton Keynes. This exciting new event was phenomenal in offering visitors the opportunity to discover how the latest robotics, automation and future technologies can improve efficiency, reduce costs and give them the competitive advantage.

So far we have had a good amount of quality leads so I am happy. I was pleased with the lack of tyre kickers – only one selling us into another exhibition. Also I felt there was a good footflow until early afternoon
The seminars were great, very interesting and drew some good crowds which was great – especially for our stand, we had a great spot
Sarah Clarke, Automation Experts Ltd
